Not bad but to much money

Way to much money for this apt. I would give it another star if it were 1/2 the price. But over all not to bad, good way to kill some time.

GREAT

This is a great app. For a quick time waster, this is perfect. There is a few areas of improvement, but overall its worth the price tag. I would mainly suggest a dotted line or something similar to Yahoo! Games pool, but besides that its really fun and easy.

This is a wonderful game

I am a beginner (plus) at pool having played with 4-6 guys on Thurs afternoons while snow covered the ground. The tough mental challenge in pool is to judge where the cue ball should hit the curvature of the object ball- and that is more than the angle of incidence = the angle of reflection! So, this game seems to perfectly model the real world where on so many shots I tend to misjudge angles and miss pockets. I truly think that this game will help me to better see the patterns of my missed shots. Bravo Vegas Pool That said, so far I find that I spend a bit too much time fighting the game controller on each shot as I try to: 1 - Select and position MY CHOICE of ball 2- rotate the table et al to optimize the view and maximize cue ball-TO-pocket separation 3- switching between Object Ball-TO-Pocket view and back to Cue Ball - Object Ball view. Both views are essential to the "Zen" of pool. 4- back-tracking to "re-prep" shots when the game makes adjustments that I did not ask for I could go on. Maybe a bit more play testing with players is suggested. CONCLUSION ***************** A wonderful game that most Touch-Tolerant pool players should LOVE. Apple ... Luv Yah too!

Awesome pool simulation game

Good job, I would like to see a 9 Ball mode too. Keep it up.

Amazing

This game is amazing and plus I feel that the controls are very easy.

Incredible for a small pool app

I have been playing pool all my life, and although I wont win tournaments, have always been fascinated by the exact physics of the game. I was absolutely stunned to watch how the balls in this pool game feel true to the lay, run and bounce of a real table. Its easy and intuitive to aim and shoot. The only - and this is minor - frustration Ive encountered, is that occasionally a white ball next to the rubbers, when you pull back for an aim on a shot, the pool cue goes forward without shooting...some small glitch, but a second pull invariably shoots the ball as it does everywhere else. This nitpicking point is offered to show Ive played a lot of this game, and its truly an amazing, fun pool game for picking up and enjoying. I highly recommend it.

New version has problems ( 2.0.2 )

Everything works fine for a while and some times when you try to aim by touching the cue the sightline changes abruptly and if you manage to realign a shot the same thing happens so i have to restart another game . It will work fine for a bit and it sometimes occurs again ? I use it on my IPhone 4 and my older IPod touch and the problem is the same on both . It needs another update to address this issue and then it will be perfect .

hours of fun!

With out a doubt this is the best billiards game for ipod touch and iphone

I need ! up to date :-(

I wanna update for iPhone 4. hurry up :)

Suggestions

I cant tell you how many hours my wife and I have spent playing this game. Thats because the physics of it are great. It makes for a very competitive gaming experience. HOWEVER, there are a few things that would make the game exponentially better. 1. Setting spin on the cue ball. Currently, in order to achieve the various spins available (top, back, L and R) you must grab the cue and push it hard and fast in the direction you desire. This is not always easy, nearly always changes your line up you just worked on and sometimes results in an accidental shot. My workaround is to place the spin on the cue ball while aiming at another ball so that when I change to the right ball I wont mess up the auto aim with my spin placement. Not very streamlined. 2. Overview and identification of balls. It is often very hard to see which ball is which from the overhead view. Sometimes its hard to distinguish a yellow spot from a yellow stripe. That sometimes results in thinking youve nearly won a game and finding out you have a surprise ball you must sink at the end. I have wondered whether it might be possible to have a display of all available balls remaining running along the top of the screen at all times or via an optional mask from which you could select a ball to aim at. Cycling through the balls is time consuming. 3. Application updates Where are they? I have owned this game for months and havent seen any updates in forever. Most developers do just that, develop. I think a little more thought and finesse could make this app perfect so please spend a little more time and finish it. We have paid our money to buy it, it would be nice if there were more work going in to it. All that said, its a great app and I am only so keen on these essential changes/additions because I love to play it so much!

No good

The balls traval way further than they should. The designers didnt study the laws of physics or the rules of pool for that matter. The only foul is scratching. Also, even the easiest opponent is to accurate. If your turn is over, you just watch them finish wining the game. Buy a different pool app or wait till they fix the problems.

$1.99 is worth the fun!

I got this app like 2 month ago and I got my wife annoyed with this game aready, is really good, I got no regrets for buying it.

Cool

Very realistic

Hey

Make my opponents less ugly please...

NO updates! NO developer support!

Where are the updates?! There are errors that need to be fixed. Some of the balls are ghosts, when you shoot the cue ball at them it goes right through them. There is NO developer support with this game, Also NO updates!

pretty good game

the game is pretty good. my only complaint is that while playing 9 ball the numbers dont match the correct colors for a couple of the lower ones

Not worth the buck

Poorly designed

Vegas Pool Sharks

I like this game overall. Not the highest of everything but worth the money. There is a major bug that comes up occasionally that when you hit a ball straight on and hard, the cue ball will go right through the object ball. Some might say I jumped it but when you are touching the object ball with a cue ball, it is almost impossible to jump. Also when the ball is clear across the table it is not a jump.

Keeps Locking Up

This is a great app except that it continues to just lock up on me so that I have no choice but to close it. When I open it back up it resumes my game, just backs it up a few shots. Please fix because I love this app!!!

Horible

One dollar is just way too much money for this crap far from realistic dont buy I dont write reviews but I had to save some poor fool from buying this
